⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Canadian-made shampoo and conditioner bars
I’ve tried several natural hair-care brands over the years, and these Canadian-made shampoo and conditioner bars are among the best I’ve used. The ingredients are genuinely simple and recognizable—plant oils, butters, and botanical extracts—with no harsh sulfates, silicones, or synthetic fragrances.
The shampoo bar lathers surprisingly well for a natural product and leaves my hair feeling clean without that stripped, squeaky feeling many bar shampoos cause. It rinses out easily and works well even in hard water.
The conditioner bar was the real surprise. Unlike many conditioner bars that feel waxy or difficult to apply, this one glides onto wet hair smoothly and provides enough slip for detangling. After drying, my hair feels soft, light, and noticeably less frizzy.

I was a bit apprehensive about using a shampoo bar for the first time. I waited a few months to try it. Wow! I wish I had used it right away! I am shocked and amazed! My hair turned out soft, healthy and full of natural curls. It stayed soft and full for an entire week. Yes, even after nine workouts! My hair has not looked this healthy in years. I used the conditioner bar as well. Worth every cent and the scent is delightful.

It has been my good fortune to find La Marcotterie products on line just last year. First of all , the service from this company is exceptional in that it is easy to make a purchase and delivery is prompt - just a few days to get to Toronto. The box of soaps is beautiful in both palettes of colours , subtle scents, and a perfect size to hold while in the shower. However, I think the shampoo bars and the conditioner bar might be something I consider transformational with my hair washing routine. As an older woman with grey hair ,I was using very expensive purple shampoo for grey hair and noticed there was a buildup of dry flaky spots on my scalp. That made me switch to baby shampoo in part coupled with the purple shampoo thinking it would help .First of all, Johnson Baby Shampoo isn't that mild and this combination didn't stop the scaly buildup in spots.
Then,I purchased a couple of shampoo bars as well as a conditioner bar with the intention to use only these two products.
I washed my hair twice over time and am delighted to report my overall satisfaction could not be better in that my scalp feels very clean, the conditioner bar allowed the comb to easily go through my long, thick grey hair, and both bars have a wonderful subtle scent.I look forward to purchasing more products as gifts for others.
